"I have been a client of Dan's since December 2014 and what a journey it has been. I call Dan the "master motivator" as he has been nothing but encouraging every step of the way. I had a bad car accident almost 10 years ago and really hurt my back. I gained a lot of weight since the accident as I was not able to do much physical activity. Through a slow at home work out, which Dan created, I was able to lose 19 lbs and 25 inches in my first '90 day challenge'. I put my scale away and focus on my functional goals. I live for my 90 day challenges and I lift weights! This is a journey for me and I have learned to stop focusing on the end goal and enjoy the ride. "I was super insecure about my abdominal area right after giving birth via c section. I thought I wouldn't be able to lose the extra fat that was left hanging after my delivery. But 3 months of training with Daniel had me feeling assured that a flatter tummy can be done and achieved. He listens very carefully and helps you achieve your goal and really motivates you when you need it. I'm that client that will make every and any excuse in the book and he will not have it. "After this year's Superbowl I found myself hitting new weight records. I was a little upset with myself because my health was interfering with my life style. I decided I needed help to lose weight and get back into shape. Although I had a back ground in health and sports I realized I needed a program and some real accountability. I called Dan and he saw me immediately and we started our program. Twice a week for an hour each time. I was a little apprehensive at first not knowing what to expect. I quickly began to enjoy the sessions as I saw results within the first couple if weeks. We worked hard but Dan was always encouraging and kept the sessions interesting, challenging and different.
Today I am down 15Lbs and have a lot more energy through the day. No more afternoon naps! My clothes fit better and I have much better eating and exercise habits. I just feel a lot better. So I've been working out with Dan for a while now and I wasn't a big fan of it first, because my mom was forcing me to do it the strengthen my elbow that I had broken the summer before. Now we work out twice a week and I love it, he's an amazing man, so motivating, not only do I love it now but I had next to no bend in my elbow at the beginning and now I'm almost back to having full range of motion just over a few months! It's not just my elbow that he has helped me with, he has helped me build confidence and a better body and mind! Im 20, two years out of high school and clothes that I purchased in Gr. 9 are starting to fit me, its an amazing feeling and its all thanks to dan I couldn't do it with out him! Definitely going to continue with the training! He's so understanding and actually makes working out fun!

"I was one of those people who had to get my head back into fitness after the holiday season last year. When Dan offered to try out a trainer for 4 sessions for $200, I decided to treat myself and make it part of my commitment to new year goals! With a trip south for March Break to look forward to, it was a good time to try to lose some inches and refocus on myself.
I met with Dan 2 or 3 times a week over the winter and was happy with the inches that I lost by March Break and the strength that I gained as well. I have to give him credit for continuing to push me, when I wasn't in the mood for it - he didn't let me off the hook because something was hard.....he kept encouraging me to keep at it and finish the set. "My weight has always fluctuated up and down. I was a competitive athlete my entire childhood and teenage years, so I learned very quickly that having a workout routine that I set myself didn’t work for me. I was used to being pushed by coaches, and I realized I really relied on that push! I have had a few trainers over the years, but Dan has been by far the best. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, which makes holding weights in my hands really hard, and every day is a new or different pain. Dan always tailors exercises towards me and knows when I really just can’t do something.

"I have found this past year I've been faced with physical tests that I just couldn't pass. Like walking up 2 flights of stairs and being winded at the top. Or playing on the floor and needing assistance to get up again. So when I was faced with a test in school I got a study buddy so why wouldn't that work with physical tests. So I needed to find someone with physical knowledge, good work out ethics, and most of all someone who has already passed these tests. So I found the best "study buddy" in Tiffany. We meet twice a week in my home to work out. She lays out my study path and encourages me to push through it. I now have more strength. I now can walk up two flights of stairs and talk at the top. Getting up and down by myself with more grace. Doing things is always better with a buddy and I even look forward to our workout times to prove to myself I can do this. The tests keep coming but I'm better prepared and feel my age and not my mother's. I know without Tiffany's encouragement, knowledge and push I'd still be on the floor."

At out initial consultation, we decided that I would join her...both as an encouragement to her as well as to advance my own fitness. Dan asked about our respective goals and designed a program tailored to meet our individual needs but designed it so we could do it together. I thought it was going to be a breeze for me because I'm more active than Wendy. But oh, was I mistaken! Here's the "ah ha": when you set personal goals it doesn't matter where you are at, improvement will take work. "As a student, I found many excuses as to why I did not have time to exercise and justified my poor nutrition and health. In 2013 I was able to lose 15 pounds by running 10 km everyday. I found in time my progress was stagnating, no matter how many kilometers I was running. I eventually joined a gym, and continued my cardio bunny routine, as the weights area always intimidated me. I remember running on the treadmill wishing I had the confidence to do some weights. I never thought a personal trainer could help me, but without question Daniel has completely changed my fitness perspective by teaching me how to use weights to build muscle and shape my body. "My big brother Dan! One of my inspirations to keep on going and keep on pushing. After I competed in my first ever fitness show, I was hungry for more gains. I started training with him on my off season /bulk season. We trained everything together but mainly legs! I got my heaviest PR of 315lbs with him. "Daniel's passion and zeal for fitness is what lead me to work with him. You could tell this wasn't a "job" to him but something he absolutely loved. When I first met Daniel I had already lost 60lbs which was a huge success however my waist was smaller than it should be as a man (29" waist) and I was wearing XS shirts or Youth XL. I wanted to fill out and create a more masculine figure and was looking for someone with a proven track record of success - Daniel was my guy.
