My Journal Blogs are titled "Made New" because I truly have been made new. Dan and I are both Christians and our faith is foundational to who we are. Over the last couple of years, I have seen God working in my life, taking me apart piece by piece, dusting me off and putting me back together a new creation. I have had a rough go for the last couple of years but I don’t like for it to be me focus. I like to focus my energy on all the changes that I have seen and how God is Making me New. Not only is God working on my heart and healing me from the inside but through the changes I have made in my fitness life I can say that I am being Made New on the outside also.
There will always be obstacles and challenges that threaten to derail your road to success. Building mental strength will help you develop resilience to life’s inevitable obstacles so you can overcome setbacks with confidence. It is truly about the journey you are on and not just the end result. If you can take a step back and be aware of your journey, I truly believe you will achieve your goals. Take each day as it comes and work at being better than you were yesterday. If you hit the pinnacle of the mountain, there is nowhere left to go but down and I am not ready for the decent. Keep pushing each day, enjoy your journey and develop your mental strength. Tiffany Ashmeade |
I have only been a "gym rat" for a year now but have fallen in love. The high you experience after a good workout makes you feel like you can take on the world. I leave feeling like I have done something amazing for my body and am so thankful I went.
For the last 10 years I have worked in an office setting as an Executive Assistant, Accounts Payable Manager and recently owned my own business conducting Bookkeeping and Office Managing for different companies. I have really enjoyed this world but feeling a calling for something greater. I am officially a Personal Fitness Trainer and am very excited to be working with my amazing husband, helping to change the world one healthy life at a time. Over the last four years I have lost 85LBS, 54LBS in the last year while training with Dan. I firmly believe in having a personal trainer to gain the knowledge and understanding of your body and its needs. Without Dan I would not be where I am today. I made the decisions to exercising when all I wanted to do was lay down to watch T.V and I made the decision as to what I put in my mouth but Dan was my motivator and accountability. Both of these are huge factors to anyone's success. |
